Research into the growth, establishment, improvement, yield, and management of economic tree crops for plantation establishment is carried out in the division. Seed procurement, processing, storage and periodic testing as well as vegetative and silvicultural improvement of exotic / indigeneous hardwoods are other aspects of the work of this Division.
